Kirby the Dog needs a home
Kirby was abandoned in a field around Christmas and was afraid to get close to people. After a much effort, he was finally rescued in the pouring rain on Christmas Eve! Fortunately for him, he just didn't realize how great life could be until now. This 16 lb dachshund mix has finally learned not only to trust people, but love them too. He is a little shy at first and may take some patience while he warms up but after a few hours, he's ready to give kisses and run around with his toys. He is good with kids and is very loving. Playing with other dogs is a favorite pass time of his and is house trained. He is good in a crate while you're away too. Kirby is looking for a home that will love him for the rest of his life.
